THE VIRTUAL RIDE

WHAT'S A VIRTUAL RIDER?

Sitting on a bike seat for 8 hours straight, two days in a row doesn’t sound fun to you? That’s OK, you can still be part of the ride! Register as a Virtual Rider and become an integral part in helping us fight poverty! Pledge to ride 207 miles – on a spin bike, with your family around the neighborhood… or none at all! Whatever works for you to raise those hard-earned donations to put families in homes.

How does it work?

  • Virtual Riders commit to raising a minimum of $150, but are encouraged to stretch past their commitment and raise as much money as possible to put families in homes (check out our FAQs for discounted family commitments).
  • If the fundraising minimum hasn’t been met by the deadline of March 15, 2019, your outstanding balance will be charged to your credit card by 1MISSION.
  • The fee to register is $20 for adults or $10 for kids 18 and under with a paying adult.
  • As soon as you register, you’ll receive access to your own fundraising page to personalize, as well as find great fundraising tools and resources to help you exceed your goals. You’ll also receive instructions showing you how to create your own mile tracker via plotaroute.com. As you enter your mileage, it will move your tracker towards Puerto Penasco, Mexico!
